"Families are like Fudge, Mostly Sweet with a Few Nuts"

 Author's note: I can relate to this quote, and I'm sure that other people can too. I wrote this piece to show how people can relate to it, too. 

"Families are like Fudge, Mostly Sweet with a Few Nuts"

One day I was in Girl Scouts, and we were decorating posters with our names on them, and things that describe us. I put a sticker on there that said that exact same quote on it. I can relate to this quote because my family is nice and loves spending time together, but sometimes a family member or two can act as the nuts. They still go together with the family, but they are different. I told my brother this quote once, and he didn’t like it because he knew that sometimes he wasn’t on his best behavior (I am not saying that I ALWAYS am, either, but you get the point). Sometimes fudge have a little bit of powdered sugar on top. I like to imagine that my dog is that powdered sugar. When we didn’t have her, we were just plain fudge with some nuts. But now, we have Zoey, and she completes the family. We love having her around, and so do the rest of my relatives. I am pretty sure that the person that made that quote can also relate to their families. That is how I interpret this quote.
